GCSE Media: Speak Now
As part of my GCSE Media Studies qualification, I was required to produce 1 of 4 briefs. Below is my work for the Music Marketing brief which required me to create a pop music video with a maximum length of 2 minutes and 30 seconds. I had to create my own version of the track which was cut in a way that did not compromise the flow of the song or my narrative whilst remaining within the cut off. I was limited to using songs by other artists without their own music videos, and was required to create under a pseudonym for data protection reasons by my exam board. My design choices are explained and underpinned by theory in the documents linked to the Planning Docs button, and the impacts of the pandemic and lockdowns on my filming explored within.
